Advantages of Mesh Belt Dryer(Chain Tape Dryer)
Currently, the market offers various drying equipment such as chain tape dryers, mesh belt dryers, and vertical dryers. We manufacture all of these, but in terms of drying effect and service life, chain tape dryers are superior.
1. High Drying Efficiency of Mesh Belt Dryer(Chain Tape Dryer)
The reason they are called chain tape dryers is because the chain tape moving within the dryer automatically flip over at the head or tail of the machine, meaning they travel back and forth twice on the same layer. Mesh belt dryers, on the other hand, only travel once. For a four-layer dryer, the chain tape dryer's plates travel eight times within the dryer, while the mesh belt dryer's belt only travels four times. Therefore, the chain tape dryer has a higher drying efficiency than the mesh belt dryer.
2. Smaller Footprint for Mesh Belt Dryer(Chain Tape Dryer)
Because of their high drying efficiency and large drying area, tilting plate dryers are shorter than mesh belt dryers for the same output, saving workshop space.
3. Low breakage rate of the chain tape dryers: Our company's chain tape dryer uses small tilting plates. The vertical drop of each tilting plate is only 200mm, and the tilting occurs along a track, allowing the material inside to slowly fall to the next layer with virtually no breakage.
The drop height of a mesh belt dryer is 400mm, and it's a drop-off process, which can cause some breakage.
The vertical dryer is 7.5m high. Initially, the material entering the dryer causes significant breakage; almost all material breaks. Breakage decreases only when the drum is full, but the large volume and weight of material inside the drum, combined with friction, can still cause breakage.
4. Smooth operation and no plate sinking: The chain tape operate within a track inside the dryer, with rollers on the plates ensuring smooth operation. The plates are made from a single piece of stamped steel, allowing them to withstand high pressure, ensuring the material lies flat on them without deformation or sinking.
When the conveyor belt is running, the material spread on it tends to concentrate in the middle of the belt, forming a net-like shape. This causes the belt to sink, leading to friction between the belt and the rollers below, eventually causing the belt to break.
