The Ventura MC 160 is designed for high quality industrial book sewing with fast and convenient job changeovers. The touch screen with Müller Martini Job and Setup Wizard allows efficient machine setup and provides the operator with a clear overview of the complete production process. The patented sewing process uses punch needles to create the holes in the signatures, while sewing needles guide the thread through the signatures. An air blast forms the thread into a loop, which is picked up by the hook needle to create the thread chain. The active thread divider system ensures that the threads between individual book blocks are cut cleanly and without tension. Suitable for a wide range of signature formats from 120 to 425 mm in length and 75 to 320 mm in width, with signature thicknesses of up to 4 mm. Thanks to its quick job changeover and production speed of up to 9,600 signatures per hour, the machine is suitable for both short production runs and industrial multi shift operation. Max.
