Been running the 330 for a construction gig all winter. Heat cranks up fast, and the visibility’s better because of the bigger glass, but that sun glare off the touchscreen is pretty annoying. Rear view camera's a big help, reversing is a lot less stressful. The ride in the cab is comfy even at the end of a long shift, guess the new seat's not bad. Machine burns less fuel than the old 330 D2L I used, I can tell because I don’t fuel up every day now. Didn’t notice anything fancy in digging speed, just steady work. Didn’t do repairs yet, but all the check points are easy to reach, appreciate not having to crawl around every morning. Had some trouble figuring out the new monitor menus, not super logical. Still, does what I need out here. Nothing special on bucket size, decent for the jobs I do.

Ran the 330 on a sandy quarry project. First impression: good power for heavy tasks and silky operation controls. The new hydraulic system keeps things efficient. Fuel consumption is noticeably lower, though the initial cost might sting if budgets are tight. The updated cabin design introduces ample space and less noise. One downside? The monitor's touch response isn't snappy sometimes. Solid choice for construction jobs.

So I spent a couple of weeks using the Cat 330. It handles fairly well in both construction and quarry tasks. The power mode is robust, providing full capability during intensive operations. The cab instruments are easy to read, and the touch screen is straightforward once familiarized. What exceeded my expectations was the extended service intervals; this reduces downtime significantly. However, adjusting to the lack of hydraulic pilot controls was a challenge at first. Still, it's a dependable machine worth considering for projects requiring consistent output.

I've spent a lot of time using different excavators, and here's my take on the Caterpillar 330 GC. The extended maintenance intervals really stand out-less downtime means more hours on the job. That saves hassle. Handling it feels responsive, and visibility from the cab is commendable. However, I found the noise levels slightly higher at full load compared to others in this class. Overall, it’s efficient with a few quirks.

Been using the 330 JS for the last couple weeks in a sand quarry, definitely noticed how the fuel efficiency's improved compared to older models. The adaptive power mode is actually handy, though at first I didn't trust the system doing the work for me. Maintenance went smoother, filters last way longer so I'm not climbing around the machine every few shifts. Don’t love all the tech in the cab (feels almost too fancy for a digger), but the better camera and the no-key start are decent features. Not a fan of everything being on touchscreen, sometimes I just want regular buttons. Comfort's pretty good, heated seat is nice in winter. View out of the cab is much better now. Just wish some controls were simpler. Price is high, but you save on running costs. Reliability so far so good, but only long time will tell.

I had the opportunity to operate the Caterpillar 330 recently. It's user-friendly, and the view from the cabin is impressive, thanks to the large windows. I noticed reduced fuel usage compared to previous models, a real advantage for extended projects. The maintenance intervals are longer now, which is convenient. However, the cab features, while good, could be even more intuitive. Overall, a practical piece of machinery.

Recently had the opportunity to work extensively with the Cat 330. The engine power is substantial, handling tough jobs effectively. I appreciate the ease of switching attachments, saving downtime. However, it does demand quality fuel and scheduled servicing to avoid any issues. Maneuverability on uneven terrain is commendable. Some improvements on maintenance requirements could make it an even better option.

I've had some fair time operating the Cat 330, and honestly, it handles digging tasks pretty well. The hydraulics responsiveness adapts nicely; it's easy to transition between different material types. The cab interior? Comfortable, though I felt room for ergonomic improvements in control placements. The fuel efficiency lives up to its claims, as daily operation rarely feels like a drain. But the bucket capacity could feel limiting on jobs requiring significant material movement. Although, the visibility from the driver's seat is commendable, keeping operations safe.

Operated the new Cat 330 excavator. The quick access start system without needing a traditional key is convenient. The menu and depth targeting functions displayed on the screen add useful clarity to tasks. Yet, the hydraulic system startup requires familiarization, as it doesn't kick in immediately-found this to add a learning curve. All in all, robust performance but may not feel instantly straightforward for first-time users.

So, I've used the Caterpillar 330 on multiple sites. The operator’s cabin feels spacious, with controls that I adapted to fairly quickly. It handles attachments pretty well, so versatility is a strong point. Fuel consumption is noticeable when running at full throttle, but acceptable for its output. Regular servicing seemed straightforward but needs diligence.
